 1) Karl, schwedischer Maler, * Hoga (auf Tjörn) 11. 7. 1855, ✝ Drottningholm (heute zu Ekerö, bei Stockholm) 16. 8. 1923; beeinflusst vom Werk P. Gauguins, malte er seit 1890 stimmungsvolle Landschaften symbolistischer Prägung.
 
 2) Ludvig, schwedischer Schriftsteller, * Härnösand 25. 2. 1882, ✝ Stockholm 15. 4. 1942; schrieb neben bedeutenden Reiseberichten lebendige, kraftvolle, oft drastische Erzählungen, Novellen sowie Romane über das Problem der Industrialisierung in Nordschweden. In ihnen wie auch in theoretischen Schriften setzte Nordström sich für den von ihm im Anschluss an H. G. Wells entwickelten »Totalismus« ein, eine Weltvereinigung in Frieden und Glück auf der Grundlage des technischen Fortschritts; auch Dramen, Reportagen und sozialwissenschaftliche Studien.
